My Patterns
|
I draft and sewn all patterns for sale to make sure they are accurate. Creating paper piecing patterns is a slow process for me. I am beginning with traditional paper piecing patterns simply because there is a beauty of simplicity in certain designs passed down through the ages. For example, circular designs such as a compass or star pattern, tap into a universal thought pattern which has been expressed in many different forms throughout history. Circles express a sense of peace and centering or completion.
My paper piecing patterns (Mariners Compass, Stars, Log Cabin, Blazing Stars) allow a sewer to piece these designs accurately. The finished square block is easy to use for many different purposes from a pillow or table runner to a bed quilt and everything in between. Many of these patterns can be used as border designs.
The numerous sizes I offer allows the quilter or sewer many avenues to create original quilts easily. My patterns can also used by other artists or crafters (woodworkers etc.) as an accurate template for their projects.
I print the Master Paper Piecing patterns from my printer on high quality heavy weight paper and then laminate them. This insures pattern accuracy and that you will have the pattern for many years to be used in projects as the spirit moves you. I encourage you in large projects to use several different sizes of the pattern to add variety and complexity to your work.
The Quilt Patterns come with easy to follow directions and the paper piecing sheets you need to complete the quilt project. I include a few extra sheets in case you need them.
