Angel of Hearts features a variety of my hand-marbled cottons and gradation hand dyed cottons I created over the years. The image came to me in a dream, as many of my angel quilts do and I found it a restful, soothing quilt to sew. All marbled cottons were used for the seraph angel (6 winged) and the feathered marbled fabrics make wonderful wings. The outside undulating feathered marbled fabric nicely offsets the marbled heart walls. Over 40 different marbled cottons were used to create this quilt.
