The miniature art quilts incorporate hand marbled and dyed cottons I create. These miniature quilts range from traditional to abstract designs and some conform to the 1'=1" (1:12) miniature scale while others are unique in size.
Many of the cottons are cut by hand and allow me to use up my precious scraps of marbled fabric. I can explore new designs, or simply make a smaller version of an image I enjoy.
This will be a changing section as I create new miniatures so check back.
My miniature art quilts are designed to be hung with a hanging sleeve sewn on the back. The sleeve runs the full width of the back. A rod, dowel or flat board is inserted in the sleeve and secured to the wall. |
