The two passions in my life, Quilts and Connecting to Spirit, have separate sections yet are woven together. I became interested in the concept of spirit/soul when I was 17. Quilts entered my life when I was 24. Both passions have taught me Be-ing, patience and beauty is ever present in all of life.
At times along my path I stopped making quilts only to begin again eager for color and the feel of clothe. At times I forgot about connecting to spirit because I was caught up in the logical world. At times I felt empty and disconnected. Needing peace, seeking spirit in my life pushed me to self reflect and self correct.
Through these adjustments my quilt making grew to explore new areas such as fabric painting and marbling. As I sewed new patterns I observed the patterns in my life. Thank you for visiting and Enjoy!
